Dr. Dedra R. Jordan,
IPMA-CP, PhD

Dr. Dedra R. Jordan, founder of BET Consulting Service, has worked as a businesswoman, entrepreneur, professional speaker, consultant and teacher since 1976. She integrates her combination of unique experiences in the business world and her academic training in Education into her training sessions. Dr. Jordan specializes in leadership and communication programs for executives, managers and leaders in business and associations. Her programs focus on real-life people in real-world organizational setting, facing today's challenges.

WORK CAREER: Dr. Jordan has served as Director of Employee and Community Relations, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Analyst/Regional Trainer and Elementary School Teacher. Dr. Jordan is currently a faculty member of Lorman Education Services where she serves as a seminar speaker.

EDUCATION CREDENTIALS: Dr. Jordan has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, Master of Education Degree, and Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Business Administration.

PROFESSIONAL LEADER: Membership in Society for Human Resource Management (International and Local); International Personnel Management Association (International and Local); American Society for Training and Development (National and Local); Human Roads Chapter American Business Women's Association; National Association for Female Executives; and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (International and Local).

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Recipient of Yoder-Heneman Human Resources Management Creative Application Award from SHRM, International Who's Who of Professional, 1995 Sterling Who's Who Directory, Executive Edition and numerous other leadership awards.
